SMA is excited to offer Westcoast LEAF's unique workshop Equality Law for Social Change at Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House. The workshop will take place as a two-part series, with two required sessions lasting three hours each two weekends in a row. It will be taught by experienced lawyer/educators affiliated with Westcoast LEAF.

Equality Law for Social Change Part One: February 11th from 2:00-5:00pm.

SMA will offer childminding for the duration of the workshop in a dedicated child care facility with trained child minders, healthy snacks and drinks for both workshop participants and children, plus bus tickets to cover transportation costs on an as-needed basis.

Please note that this is a six-hour workshop divided into two session on two consecutive Saturdays, and attendance is required at both sessions if you enroll in the workshop. We look forward to building a supportive social justice learning community of women through this workshop series, and it will be a fun, enriching experience for all those who are keen to learn about human rights law, women's equality rights, the role of charter challenges, and the work Westcoast LEAF does to advance women's equality through our legal system.
